With lockdown in place Wellington regiment organised to help the poor. According to Army officials, it is customary for the Indian Army to work with private administration and police agencies in times of crisis to provide various assistance to the people in the time of need.
They said it would be of great service to those who could not get out of the house due to the threat of Corona.
