District Collector K. Rajamani, Corporation Commissioner and Special Officer Sravan Kumar Jatavath, MLA PRG Arun Kumar, Amman K Arjunan, Deputy Corporation Commissioner Prasanna Ramasamy, DRO Ramathurai Murugan were also present.

25 Mobile Vegetable Vending Vehicle has been inaugurated today (02.04.2020) in all 5 zones in the Coimbatore Corporation with 5 vehicles per zone. A ₹100 worth package that includes 1kg tomato, 500g onion, green chillies 150g, one coconut, brinjal 250g, ladies finger 250g, snake guard 300g, ribbed gourd 500g, drumstick 250g, curry leaves, coriander leaves and pudina will be given to the public. Minister SP Velumani said this will reduce public coming out of homes to buy vegetables during the lockdown.
City Engineer Lakshmanna, Urban Welfare Officer Dr. K. Santosh Kumar, Regional Assistant Commissioners T.R.Ravi (South), Senthil Kumara Ratnam (North), Mahesh Kanagaraj. M Selvan (East), AJ Senthil Rajan (West), Assistant Commissioners Annadurai (Revenue), M Sundarajan (Bureau) were also present.
