Coimbatore: Kalimuthu (35) of Kaliyampalayam, Negamam was bitten by a snake, while he was at work, at Ramesh Thottam, on March 28. He fainted on the spot immediately.

The public rushed him to the Coimbatore GH, for treatment.
Kalimuthu was admitted in the GH and was being administered treatment, since the day of the incident. However, he passed away yesterday evening, failing to respond to the treatment.
Following this, his body has been retained at the mortuary, awaiting post mortem.
