Following this, all of Valparai, including the tea estates are being sprayed with disinfectants. The prime locations, where people gather in large numbers, like grocery stores on the main road are being fumigated with more focus. The door handles of the shops are being sprayed with strong disinfectants, with the help of fire engines.
Cars and two wheelers, out on the streets are also being fumigated.
Valparai Municipal Commissioner Dr. Pavanraj, Municipality Health Inspector Johnson, fire department and police department undertook the fumigating operation.
