Coimbatore: Tamilnadu sees the biggest jump in the number of coronavirus positive cases in a single day. The TN Health Minister C Vijayabaskar today announced that there have been 50 new cases that have been tested positive in Tamilnadu.
Coimbatore: Tamilnadu sees the biggest jump in the number of coronavirus positive cases in a single day. The TN Health Minister C Vijayabaskar today announced that there have been 50 new cases that have been tested positive in Tamilnadu.
He also mentioned that out of the 50 new cases, 45 of them are linked with those with travel history to the Jamaat Conference in Nizamuddin, New Delhi. Earlier in the morning, the health Minister had confirmed that 7 more cases have been confirmed since the overnight tally, out of which 3 cases had travel history to Delhi.
This cluster of travellers have to now be actively monitored as they have been freely moving around since their arrival from New Delhi on March 24th.
The government has still not confirmed the 7 suspected cases from Anaimalai or how many of those quarantined from the 82 with travel history to Delhi have been tested positive among this.
