The people of the city woke up to the news of the fake video doing rounds in social media of a large batallion of RAF personnel holding flag march in NSR road, Coimbatore. As the citizens continue to defy the lockdown directives, the State government has brought RAF to action, read the message along with the video.
A tik tok video of RAF personnel marching released from ID @princeprince6929 has been doing rounds in WhatsApp groups.
The police officials have clarified that the video was shot during CAA protests and no orders have been passed to bring RAF personnel during the present lock down.
The police officials have issued stern warning against those who fabricate news and spread it through Whatsapp and social media groups. Legal action will be enforced on them, they said.
