Coimbatore: Extending their support to the State government in COVID-19 combatting operation, the alumni of PSG Arts and Science College (PSG CAS) have donated Rs.1 lakh on Tuesday.
The alumni members of 1992-1995 batch handed over a cheque of Rs.1 lakh to the District Collector K. Rajamani on Tuesday at the Collectorate.
Alumni Association Coordinator and TN Congress Youth Wing President, Mayura Jayakumar. Alumni Association President Mahendran and Treasurer Auditor Kamesh, were present.
Speaking to the Press, Mayura Jayakumar said, "The spread of COVID-19 has sparked panic and several challenges across the world. As appealed by the Centre and the State governments, establishments and people should come forward in large numbers to contribute to COVID-19 relief fund. We have fulfilled our responsibility of donating to the relief fund."
