Coimbatore: An investigation meeting on preventive measures was held in a private hall in the district of Valparai, Coimbatore, headed by legislator Kasturi Vasu. According to the social distancing system, chairs were placed with a one-meter gap.

Municipal Commissioner, in his welcome note, said that the disinfectant work is being conducted throughout the municipality. Following, Dr. Babu Lakshman called for a social distancing to avoid corona.
MLA Kasturi Vasu said to avoid touching eyes, nose and mouth as per doctor's advice. He also advised everyone to wash hands regularly. Thermo scanner was given to the GH and face masks were distributed to the sanitary workers.

Following this, the disinfectant spraying using modern equipment was initiated.
Municipal Commissioner Dr Pavanraj, Divisional officer Rajan, Regional Resource Center Chief Dr. Babulakshman, Government Hospital Dean Vinod, Health Inspector Johnson, Police Inspector Balamurugan, Forest Department, Public Works Department, Government officials, Tea estate executives attended the meeting.
