To stop people venturing out, District Administration plans to supply vegetables across all wards - Minister SP Velumani

Coimbatore: With the lockdown in place, people are still venturing outside their homes to buy essentials like vegetables. Especially on weekends, people were at large seen defying the social distancing rules and busy buying essentials, as usual.

Coimbatore: With the lockdown in place, people are still venturing outside their homes to buy essentials like vegetables. Especially on weekends, people were at large seen defying the social distancing rules and busy buying essentials, as usual. 

In a bid to stop people coming outside their homes for buying essentials, the District Administration is devising plans to sell vegetables, using 100 vehicles, across 100 wards. 

Apprising about the plans, Minister S.P. Velumani said, "Plans are underway to sell vegetables, using 100 vehicles, in all the wards, through the Corporation."
