Tirupur: District administration is trying to provide basic facilities to 41,273 workers from 22 states in Tirupur district. Advisory Meeting on Curfew and Prevention Activities was held at Tirupur District Collectorate headed by Minister Udumalai Radhakrishnan.

He told reporters after the meeting that checkpoints were set up in 41 places in Tirupur where a team of physicians and health workers were monitoring the situation. The vehicles are being allowed in after a thorough inspection on the Kerala border and after spraying disinfectants.
He said 'the district administration is preparing to provide 41273 workers from 22 states in Tirupur district with basic facilities. In Tirupur district, 200 full body protection is being prepared for doctors and ambulance drivers. Since the meat shops were crowded the last two days, the district administration will be holding a meeting with meat shop owners to consider to reduce the crowds.
