Update: 17 tested positive in TN; count rises to 67 - CM

Chief Minister Edapadi K Palanisamy on Monday informed that 17 people have been tested positive for COVID-19 in one day in TN. A total of 67 patients are reported positive in the State.

Chief Minister Edapadi K Palanisamy on Monday informed that 17 people have been tested positive for COVID-19 in one day in TN. A total of 67 patients are reported positive in the State.

Briefing on the infrastructural facilities available, the CM told that there are 15,000 beds available with 500 doctors, 1000 nurses, para medical staff and 1500 lab technicians. 

The health department are increasing contact tracing of people who were in touch with COVID 19 positive patients and those who returned from foreign countries, the CM noted.
