Breaking: There is no plan to extend the 21-day lockdown - Cabinet Secretary

Today, the Cabinet Secretary Rajiv Gauba, has told national media, that there is no plan like that and he is surprised such rumours are being given credence. He said, “I’m surprised to see such reports, there is no such plan of extending the lockdown:”



New Delhi: There have been rumours swirling around that the lockdown will be extended till May in many WhatsApp groups. This was justified to say that the spread of the virus was more and that people who are not following social distancing rules are putting everyone through the risk of extended lockdowns. 

Today, the Cabinet Secretary Rajiv Gauba, has told national media, that there is no plan like that and he is surprised such rumours are being given credence. He said, “I’m surprised to see such reports, there is no such plan of extending the lockdown:”

Hopefully this should put those rumours to rest and people should be encouraged to stay indoors.
