Coimbatore: In line with Central, State and Local Administration, to fight against novel coronavirus, Kovai Medical Center & Hospital (KMCH) Coimbatore has reinforced its fight against COVID-19 by dedicating one of their campus to treat patients with Coronavirus infection.
The 128-bedded hospital on Kalapatti road is equipped with necessary infrastructure to treat Corona-related problems. The set up is completely isolated from the main hospital and a separate team of medical and paramedical team have been allocated to treat patients, the hospital management informed in a press release.
Dr.Nalla G.Palaniswami, Chairman, KMCH conveyed that the new premises will be ready to treat patients from March 26. "The access to this new hospital will be made available only for suspected patients and those with fever. Public are advised to use the Avinashi road entrance to access the hospital."
He also sincerely appreciated the State and Central Government for the right decision to put the nation under Section 144. Staying indoors is essential to eliminate COVID-19.
