According to the International Monetary Fund (IMF) Chief, "The global economy has entered into a downturn due to the Coronavirus pandemic. The economy will require massive funding to help developing nations."

To manage the global economic crisis, a fund estimate for the overall financial needs of emerging markets would be $2.5 trillion.  "We believe this is on the lower end", she warmed.

Over 80 countries already have requested emergency aid from the International Monetary Fund.
