Tirupur: The Tirupur Police Department has taken several measures to spread COVID-19 awareness and other public service announcements, far and wide, to the people of Tirupur.
A fleet of 30 vehicles, were flagged off by Police Commissioner Badrinarayanan, today. These vehicles will spread awareness regarding the spread of the virus and prevention mechanisms. They will also provide information regarding the location where essential goods are available.
Speaking to the reporters, he said, "40 case have been filed and 24 vehicles have been seized for violating the lockdown. An organisation in Tirupur, that failed to comply with the lockdown, has been booked in a case and sealed. We have 30 vehicles across the city to spread awareness among the people, in various areas of Tirupur."
