Coimbatore: The details of 1014 people who came from abroad have been found and are under the surveillance of the Coimbatore District Health Department. More than 19,000 civilians around the world have been tragically killed by the virus.

In order to curb these casualties and its impact, the government of India has issued a lockdown across the country to curtail civilian movement in India. In this situation, the health sector in Tamil Nadu is taking various precautions. The details of those who have returned from overseas are constantly being collected.

The central government has handed over these details to the public health department to control the spread of the disease. Officials said, of all the passports examined, 1,014 people have been identified and currently, stickers are being stuck on their homes by the authorities.

In addition, 30 new people have been admitted with corona symptoms at ESI Hospital, excluding two people who have identified with the infection.
