Coimbatore: A total of Rs. 95,45,000 has been sanctioned for the purchase of equipment, for the COVID-19 Special Ward, at the Government Medical College and ESI Hospital, Coimbatore by MP P.R.Natarajan, from the MP Local Area Development Scheme (MPLADS).
Coimbatore: A total of Rs. 95,45,000 has been sanctioned for the purchase of equipment, for the COVID-19 Special Ward, at the Government Medical College and ESI Hospital, Coimbatore by MP P.R.Natarajan, from the MP Local Area Development Scheme (MPLADS).

In a letter addressed to the District Collector, he stated that due to the COVID-19 outbreak, funds amounting to Rs.95,45,000, were being sanctioned for the purchase of equipment, for the Government Medical College and ESI hospital. The letter was also presented to the ESI Hospital Dean Nirmala.

The list of items included Ventilators (5nos., worth Rs.50 lakhs), Multi Para Monitors (5 nos., worth Rs.11 lakhs), NIV, Infusion pump, suction apparatus, BP apparatus, PPE wear kit, thermal scanner, N95 masks, three layer masks, venti masks, sterile gloves, stethoscope, glucometer with strips, disinfectant jet sprayer and aerosol inhalers.
