The Nilgiris: Most of the shops were closed from the morning as lockdown was called for by Prime Minister yesterday to control Corona in the Nilgiris district including Kotagiri, Coonoor, Gudalur and Ooty.

Commercial Street, Mount Road, Donington street which is usually crowded were seen deserted. 



Most parts of the city, including the bus station, auto stand, and train station are deserted. Since most people bought all essentials yesterday the roads were mostly deserted.
