Coimbatore: District Collectors of Coimbatore and Palakkad, conducted an advisory meeting at the Walayar check post regarding the measures taken for Coronavirus prevention, today.
Coimbatore District Collector K. Rajamani and Palakkad District Collector D. Balamurali, held the meeting and discussed the preventive measures being undertaken at the Valayar checkpost.
Coimbatore District Police Superintendent Sujithkumar and Palakkad District Superintendent of Police, G. Siva, District Revenue Officer Ramaduraimurugan and other government officials were present for the meeting.
Various measures including the quarantine of passengers on either side of the borders, fumigation of vehicles and other preparedness related issues were discussed.
