In the last few days, the government has been actively monitoring and checking areas such as the airport, bus and railway stations to isolate and monitor people with colds, coughs and flu symptoms coming from areas where the coronavirus has spread throughout the country.
In the meantime, all the schools and colleges have been given leave and employees are given work from home. Many people have been diagnosed with coronavirus infection in the state of Kerala and Maharashtra in India. Due to this, all flights coming to India from abroad have been banned and the number of trains has been reduced.
The state of Tamil Nadu has ordered the closure of borders in Kerala, Karnataka and Andhra Pradesh. Especially the crowded bus stations of Udukadam, Gandhipuram and Saibaba Colony in Coimbatore are deserted and all the shops and businesses in major roads such as Crosscut Road, Gandhipuram, Avinasi Road and Townhall are closed.
All the temples, mosques and churches were closed. Trains were seen deserted. People of all walks of life are self-isolating in their homes. Essential commodities such as milk and drug stores are kept open.
