Tirupur: The Central and State Governments have appealed to the public to undertake self-curfew as a preventive measure for coronavirus. As part of this, all hosiery companies and shops were closed in Tirupur.



There was no traffic and public movement in the city's main roads such as Pushpa Junction, Kumaran Road, Palladam Road and Dharapuram Road, the old and new bus stands. 



Commercial areas such as Katherpet, Nesavalar Colony and all shops were closed. All hosiery companies were shut down for the day in the Sidco area.
