All the two wheelers, cars, lorries and other vehicles are being sprayed with disinfectants.
The importance of handwashing was also educated to the people and pamphlets explaining approved handwashing techniques, were distributed.
A disease prevention special taskforce, led by the Valparai Regional Resource Center, Chief Dr Babu Ganesh conducted inspections at the tea estates and the chekposts regarding the measure taken to control the spread of Coronavirus and screening methods.
