Tirupur: The cold blooded murder in a private building near Tirupur Old Bus Stand has shocked the people.
The old building, a property of Veerasivakumar, was situated near the old bus stand in Tirupur. Maintenance works were being carried out at the building and three workers from Ooty had been undertaking it, while staying behind the building. The workers Vicki, Mansoor and Babu had consumed alcohol yesterday night and had gotten into a verbal dispute. In an inebriated and furious state, Mansoor and Babu, murdered Vicki, by slitting his throat.
Hearing the commotion, the neighbours informed the police, and the Tiruppur South police arrived at the scene and retrieved the body and sent it for post mortem, to the Government Hospital.
Later Mansoor and Babu were taken under custody, and investigated. Forensic experts and sniffer dog Hunter have been used to investigate the murder.
