He inspected the preventive measures undertaken at the Tirupur Government Hospital and Railway Station. The Collector discussed with the officials on the awareness campaigns carried on behalf of the district administration.
Briefing the Press on the developments, the Collector informed "To prevent the shortage of face masks, the district administration is considering to contact bulk manufacturers. Though there have been no cases with symptoms of COVID-19, the district administration is extremely vigilant."
He warned that rumour mongers will be dealt seriously.
