Coimbatore: The Coimbatore Lawyers Association have issued guidelines today to aid in the prevention of the spread of COVID-19.
Coimbatore: The Coimbatore Lawyers Association have issued guidelines today to aid in the prevention of the spread of COVID-19.
The following guidelines were proposed:
- Lawyers were asked to avoid petitioners coming to the court until March 31. The lawyers themselves were asked to avoid from coming to the Court.
- There is no need to file criminal and civil lawsuits for the absence of clients.There are no adverse orders in criminal or civil cases.
- CBA Canteen will not be open between March 19-31.
- Lawyers are also asked not to attend their clients in their Chamber.
- People who are asked to sign in Court on the condition can visit by 9:45 AM and sign in respective Courts.
- From 19.03.2020 to 31.03.2020, the Wicket Gate will be open from 9.30 AM to 1 11 AM and 5 PM to 6.30 PM. (This is a PDJ directive)
- From 19.03.2020 at Gate No.1, Gate No.4 and Wicket Gate, from 9.30 AM a medical team will engage in Corona prevention and testing operation and other entrances will be closed.
The Lawyers Association sought full co-operation for these preventive measures in their release today.
