Coimbatore: As the Coronavirus epidemic is taking its toll on tourism, the All India Tourist Drivers Association here have requested moratorium to pay vehicle tax.
Across the country, all tourist sites, hotels and shops have emptied out due to COVID-19 threat which has hit our livelihood, said the members of the association from Coimbatore.

"Streets are deserted, hence there is no one to hire even a cab. Keeping in mind the impact of this scenario, the government should provide us time to pay vehicle tax. Due to COVID-19 threat, we are unable to fetch even 10% of our usual revenue", they lamented.
