Maoist Srimathi arrest: Police custody granted for 8 days

Coimbatore: Maoist Srimathi (a) Shoba, who was arrested on March 11, near Ananikatti was produced before the Coimbatore Principal Judge Sakthivel, who ordered to remand her judicial custody, until March 26.

Meanwhile, the police filed a petition seeking custody of the woman maoist for 10 days for investigation. Justice Sakthivel on Wednesday granted 8 days police custody and ordered that her lawyer should be allowed to meet her, every alternate day.
