Coimbatore: The Anaimalai Tiger Reserve (ATR) conducted a COIVD-19 awareness campaign, at Valparai, on Wednesday.
Coimbatore: The Anaimalai Tiger Reserve (ATR) conducted a COIVD-19 awareness campaign, at Valparai, on Wednesday.
Deputy Chief Forest officer, Selvam of ATR educated the students and public about the importance of washing hands and covering the mouth and nose, with a handkerchief, while coughing and sneezing.

"People should refrain from spitting in public places. And not touch their eyes, nose and mouth, with their hands without washing", he added.
He further advised them to visit the Government hospital, if they experience symptoms like cough and cold. Pamphlets, creating awareness, were distributed during the campaign.
The campaign was also attended by the Maanaampalli Forest Ranger Nataraj, Valparai Forest Ranger Senthil Kumar, other foresters and employees.
