According to reports, on Tuesday, the blood reports of all six people who were quarantined at the isolation ward with COVID-19 symptoms at ESI Hospital in Singanallur were sent to King's Hospital in Chennai. "All have been tested negative for COVID-19 infection", the health department officials told.
Sources say that they would be kept in isolated ward for another 2-3 days, as a matter of precaution and treated for symptoms.
Patient details
One of them is a 40 year old person, a resident of Pollachi returned from Italy. Another patient is a 60 year-old woman, who travelled from Kottayam to Valparai, for a function and two travellers from France who landed at Mumbai and reached Coimbatore for Ayurvedic treatment were also admitted. A 15-year- old boy who reached Mettupalayam from Sharjah and a 30-year-old person from Udumalpet who returned from Singapore have were quarantined on Tuesday.
