Tirupur: A flag march was conducted by the Rapid Action Force (RAF) through various parts of the Tirupur on Saturday.
Tirupur: A flag march was conducted by the Rapid Action Force (RAF) through various parts of the Tirupur on Saturday.
According to officials, the flag march was conducted in view of the ongoing anti-CAA protest in Tirupur and to instill a safe and secure feeling amongst the public.
Around 120 RAF personnel took part in the march from Kumaran road to the Old bus stand, under the leadership of Commander Singaravelu.
Deputy Police Commissioner of the city Badrinarayanan also took part in the march and led the police force.
Two tear gas vehicles, were also a part of the march.
