Jagajeevanram has allegedly told Govindaraj that he would not have to work as an electrician in this advanced age. He also promised Govindaraj, that he would help the latter make more money in the movies.

Citing that Actor Radhakrishnan was involved in making a movie, 'Vaigai Express', Jagajeevanram promised to take Govindaraj to Chennai, to meet the actor.

On Mar 1, 2016, Govindaraj met Actor Radhakrishnan at KK Salai, Saligramam. Radhakrishnan allegedly enticed Govindraj, saying that the latter will have to buy 600 tickets from Jagajeevanram, at Rs.1000 per tickey. At the time of release of the movie Govindaraj could sell the tickets for Rs.1,500, Radhakrishnan promised.
Following this, Govindaraj bought 600 tickets to the Vaigai Express movie from Jagajeevanram on April 2, 2016. For this, he borrowed Rs.6 lakhs, as loan. However the movie did not release for a long time and Govindaraj started questioning Jagajeevanram.
Jagajeevanram promised that the movie would be released on Mar 24, 2017, at a few theaters in Tirupur. However none of the tickets were sold before the movie released. On confronting Jagajeevanram, he said that the tickets were no longer valid.
At a loss, Govindaraj petitioned at the office of the SP of Tirupur yesterday stating, "Being in a financially troubled state already, I was cheated of Rs.6 lakhs by Actor Radhakrishnan and Jagajeevanram. Action must be taken against them and his money recovered", he requested.
