Nilgiris: As a result of the spread of coronavirus, the Nilgiris District Collector Innocent Divya, inspected the fumigation of government buses using disinfectant spray at the Ooty Central bus stand. Municipal Commissioner Sarasawthi, Deputy Director of Heath services Balusami and other Municipal employees took part in the activity and fumigated the buses.

Speaking to the gathering, the District Collector said, "It is very important to maintain cleanliness and personal hygiene in order to stay safe from Coronavirus. Nilgiris is primarily a tourist destination, hence, anybody spreading rumours regarding the spread of Coronavirus will be dealt with severe action", she warned.
