Contract workers in ESI hospital continue to boycott work

Coimbatore: More than 30 cleaning workers of ESI hospital in Singanallur continued to boycott work for the fourth consecutive day, demanding to regularise their pay.

Coimbatore: More than 30 cleaning workers of ESI hospital in Singanallur continued to boycott work for the fourth consecutive day, demanding to regularise their pay. 



Alleging that their legitimate demand to sort out the pending salaries have fallen on deaf ears, the contract workers apprised that they would continue to boycott work.



They informed that the arrear wages should be paid with immediate effect and assurance should be given to them of not extracting work beyond working hours.
