The officials of district administration and health officials remain alert and have launched an extensive campaign to create awareness among the masses. As thousands of tourist throng Ooty and Coonoor every day, hand sanitisers have been placed at botanical garden in Ooty, as a precautionary measure.
Besides, the administration also has plans to create awareness among school and college students about the dos and don’ts to prevent infection.
