Coimbatore: In a bid to create awarenes among the masses on the do's and dont's of Coronavirus, the district members of Samathuva Makkal Katchi distributed masks and pamphlets to the public.
The campaign themed 'Oru Roobayil Uyir' was presided by District Secretary Muthuraj and social activist Kaja Moideen, who was the chief guest.
The campaign was held at Telungar street here and door-to-door pamplet distribution and masks were given to the people. The pamphlets had elaborate information on washing hands thoroughly, avoiding crowded places and Coronavirus treatment.
Speaking to the press regarding this, Muthuraj said, "These notices are being distributed to people to create awareness about the virus and prevention methods."
Executive members of the Samathuva Makkal Katchi's, Ukkadam Sheriff, Aladi Anand, Muthupaandi, Vijayalingam, Singai Saravanan and many others took part in the campaign.
