Coimbatore: Several women from Thondamuthur, Alandurai and adjacent areas took part in the free breast screening camp organised by Isha Arogya Alai, as part of International Women's day.
The special medical camp was held at the Isha Rural Clinic in Muttuthuvayol in collaboration with Sri Ramakrishna Hospital from 8 AM to 1 PM.
Several women in the age group of 20 to 75 years participated in the camp. Doctors from Sri Ramakrishna Hospital screened the patients for breast and uterus-related diseases. The women were also provided expert advice on maintaining good health and physical fitness.
Booluvampatti Ward Councillor, Muthulakshmi, Sathanandham, President Booluvampatti Panchayat, Mani, BJP Youth Wing, Dr.Nisha of Ramakrishna Hospital and others were present at the camp.
According to the organisers of Isha Arogya Alai, free medical camps are being held every month.
