Dr. King, a former homeopathy practitioner and former Advisor to the TN government's Homeopathy medical department, petitioned to the District Collector, K Vijayakarthikeyan on Monday stating on the importance of alternative medicine. He claimed that homeopathy has preventive cure for Coronavirus.
"During critical times, the health department must consider alternative treatments like Homeopathy, Siddha and Ayurveda. Experts in those fields must also be consulted when finding sources for medicine, for such critical illnesses.
There is a medicine in Homeopathy for the prevention of the COVID-19 disease. I have petitioned to the District Collector, to insist the Health department to take suggestions from the alternative medicine experts."
