Anti-CAA protest: Black balloons released at Aathupaalam

Coimbatore: Black headscarfs and releasing Black balloons on Saturday marked the dissent of thousands of Muslims who have been protesting against the Citizenship Amendment Act in Aathupaalam in the city.

Coimbatore: Black headscarfs and releasing Black balloons on Saturday marked the dissent of thousands of Muslims who have been protesting against the Citizenship Amendment Act in Aathupaalam in the city. 



The protest which entered the 18th consecutive day today has been witnessing unrelenting support from the Islamic outfits, senior citizens, women and children. 



While a shop closure protest has been announced today by the Confederation of All Jamaat, the protestors have gathered in large numbers at Aathupaalam, which has christened it as the "Shaheen Bagh of Kovai'".
