Coimbatore: Lashing at the opposition parties for provoking the minorites and the general public to hold protests against the Citizenship Amendment Act, H Raja, the General Secretary of BJP warned that DMK's cheap tactics of misleading people will end in vain, infact it will turn against them during the upcoming State elections.

Addressing the media at District BJP Office in Coimbatore, H Raja warned that in the name of anti-CAA protests, they are defaming the Hindus. Any defamatory statements against Hindus will not be taken ignored, he warned.
"While it's rumored that CAA has affected the religious harmony in the nation, it's actually the opposition parties who are infusing violence among the people by propagating baseless information on CAA. Proving this is the recent attack on MP Ravindranath, all the 38 MP's who voted against CAA are safe. However Theni MP Ravindranath, who voted in favour of the CAA, was attacked", he alleged.
H Raja also alleged that few people under the guise of lawyers have been threatening the Judges to remove the protestors from protest sites.
"There are several illegal immigrants from Bangladesh who live in Tirupur, Perundurai, Krishnagiri and Coimbatore without any proper documentations. Action should be initiated against them to send them out of our country", he urged.
"If DMK leader MK Stalin, continues to campaign for the citizenship rights of foreigners, then people will teach him a lesson in the elections. Several District and Union level DMK functuinaries been complaining of Stalin's leadership and his decisions. Infact, they are discussions of them quitting the party", he stated.
When questioned on the allegation of him threatening dissolving Edapadi government, if they chose to pass resolution against CAA, H Raja denied the allegations and said it was spread by rumour mongers.
"What actor Rajinikanth spoke about being disappointed, is within his party", he said. We can talk about alliance with Rajni, when he launches his party. Actually the pro CAA campaigns have increased the vote bank of the BJP. Rajinikanth has expressed his support for the CAA, however, Kamal Haasan does not have clarity about the act", he opined.
