Update: Islamic organisations withdraw announcement on closure of shops on March 6

Coimbatore: Alleging that Sangh Parivar and Hindu Munnani are trying to disrupt the harmony of the city by framing false accusations on Muslims living in Coimbatore, the Coimbatore District United Jamaath and Confederation of Islamic Organisations have called for closure of shops on March 6.

In a recent statement, they have announced of withdrawing the shop closure protest on March 6. "The date will be announced, later", the organisers told. 

The members today jointly filed a petition to the City Police Commissioner informing of their protest tomorrow, and alleged that Hindu Munnani has been planning to create communal violence and frame the Muslims for their acts.
