Man with helmet enters home and robs 11 sovereign of gold in Tirupur; CCTV footage released

Tirupur: The CCTV footage of a man gaining entry into a house to commit robbery has been released. The man has reportedly robbed 11 sovereign of gold jewelry and eloped.


Tirupur: The CCTV footage of a man gaining entry into a house to commit robbery has been released. The man has reportedly robbed 11 sovereign of gold jewelry and eloped. 

Couple, Ebenezer and Poongodi are residents of Swarnapuri Island Extension , Velampalayam in Tirupur. On March 2, when Poongodi was alone at home, a man wearing helmet gained entry into the home and threatened her at knife point. Later, he eloped with 11 sovereign of gold ornaments. 

A case was filed at Velampalayam police station. Now, the CCTV footage of the man gaining entry into the home by jumping the compound wall has been released.
