Coimbatore: Several hundreds of shops, houses and 16 mosques have been ravaged in the riots that erupted in the pockets of North East Delhi over the Citizenship Amendment Act (CAA) last week. The scenes are very disturbing and looks "most likely well-planned", said MP OR Natarajan who visited the riot-hit northeast Delhi.

The scenes are very disturbing and looks "most likely well-planned", said MP OR Natarajan who visited the riot-hit northeast Delhi.
The CPI(M) MP PR Natarajan from Coimbatore and AM Arif, MP of Alappuzha Constituency jointly visited the riot-hit areas in North was Delhi and expressed grief and shock over the incident. In a video released by them, MP PR Natarajan alleged that the destruction is massive and they were not permitted to visit the entire place.

"Seeing and hearing from the affected people and the victim's family, it is clear that the riots were well planned and executed to create massive Hindu-Muslim riots as it happened in 1969 and 2002", the MP told.
"After witnessing the place in person, am able to corelate why people are demanding Home Minister Amit Shah to resign. People here are economically and mentally affected. They have lost their loved ones and their livelihood. The government have to do the needful on priority to the affected people", MP PR Natarajan k informed.
He assured that CPI (M) will stand in solidarity with the affected people and the CAA protestors across the nation.
