Coimbatore: Hindu Munnani and BJP members entered into a violent clash as war of words during an accident negotiation turns into a blood bath. This violent clash happened in the Thudiyalur Police station limits yesterday evening.
This incident rolled into action yesterday evening when a lady driving a two wheeler met with an accident with a car with Kerala registration. Both the lady and the driver in the car entered into a war of words. The people who travelled in the car called in their friends Karthik, Jerald and Harish to support them in this fight. The lady who drove the two wheeler called up her brother Selva and asked him to come to the accident spot for support.
Selva rushed to the accident spot with his other friends Ashok, Rasu, ShanmugaSundaram, Sachu, Dinesh and Kiran. They attacked the opposite gang, who came in support of the car driver brutally with sickles (arivaal). The three youngsters were brutally injured and were admitted in the Government Hospital for treatment.
The Thudiyalur Police have filed cases on all the 6 accused who came in support of the women in the two wheeler under IPC 147, 148, 324, 307 and 506 (2). Upon investigation by the police, it was ascertained that Karthik, Jerald and Harish who were attacked and admitted in the hospital belonged to Hindu Munnani and few of the 6 members of the opposite gang who attacked them brutally belonged to the BJP. Police sources say that previous enmity between the two rival gangs was the cause of this incident.
