The Chief Minister of Tamil Nadu is to participate in the ceremony for laying the foundation stone in a ceremony.
Tamil Nadu Minister Udumalai Radhakrishnan inspected the site and gave suggestions for the foundation laying ceremony. Speaking to reporters, Minister Udumalai Radhakrishnan thanked the Chief Minister of Tamil Nadu for granting the directive from the Union government to set up a medical college in Tirupur.
The foundation stone laying for the medical college, which is set to be built in a budget of ₹336 crores, will be done tentatively by the Chief Minister on the 14th of this month. Since the inspection is currently underway, and the debate on grant for this college from the central government is still pending, the dates are not as yet confirmed, he said.
