At a meeting held on behalf of Manithaneya Jananayaga Party at Codissia Ground in Coimbatore on Saturday, several resolutions were passed against the Citizenship Amendment Act.
During the conference, chaired by MLA of Nagapatyinam Constituency, Thamimum Ansari, a resolution was passed with a strong condemnation of the MPs of the AIADMK government who voted in favour of the Citizenship Amendment Act.

The members alleged that the present AIADMK leadership is against the social justice principles laid by MGR and Jayalalithaa, they are anti-people.

17 resolutions including Rs 50 lakh compensation and government job for one of the family members of the victims of Delhi riots. Citizenship for the Eelam Tamils living in Tamil Nadu, No implementation of CAA, NPR, NRC, action against those involved in Washermenpet area in Chennai among other resolutions were passed.
