Coimbatore: A 53-year-old bank employee of Canara bank in Avinashi on Saturday morning committed suicide in the dining room of the bank.
Tirupur: A 53-year-old bank employee of Canara bank in Avinashi on Saturday morning committed suicide in the dining room of the bank.
N Ganesan (54) from Nehru Street in Avinashi was working as an Office Assistant in Canara Bank branch in Avinashi. According to reports, Ganesan reported to work today morning, however as the employees could not find him for a long time, they checked for him in the dining room and were shocked to see that Ganesan had committed suicide by hanging himself in the room.
The employees immediately informed the police who rushed to the spot and retrieved the body and sent it for post mortem. The police are investigating to ascertain the reason for his death.
