Addressing the gathering, AIDWA, Vice President, Vasuki said that as always AIDWA will support protests and stand with people who are fighting for their rights.

She strongly condemned the gun firing in Delhi and urged that the Supreme Court should interfere in the issue and put an end to the ongoing violence in Delhi.
"The Central and the State government should understand the feelings of those who are opposing the Citizenship Amendment Act. Minorities or whoever it is, people's feelings should be respected and their points should be considered. All attempts to threaten the protestors using police force will only go in vain, moreover it will only accentuate the prevailing situation", stated the AIDWA VP, Vasuki.
