Coimbatore: Alleging police atrocities against the anti- CAA protestors in Delhi, members of Campus Front of India (CFI) here on Tuesday tried to lay siege to the BSNL office in Kuniamuthur. The police arrested the protestors.

The CFI members accused the Delhi police as mute spectators of violence. They accused that the RSS people were involved in shooting against the anti-CAA protestors, and the incident happened amid tight police security.
Addressing the media, President of Campus Front of India Abuthahir said, "Anti social elements belonging to RSS have infiltrated into the protest site in Delhi and instigated violence by opening fire against the protestors. Amid tight security, the shootings took place and police were just silent spectators. Instead of arresting the violence mob, the police lathi-charged against the protestors which led to chaos."
He added that RSS is trying to create a rift and trigger communal tension between the Hindus and the Muslims in the nation.
He also apprised that members of CFI will lay siege to all government office in the country, if the government doesn't revoke CAA.
