Coimbatore: Corporation Commissioner and Special Officer J. Sravan Kumar presided a review meeting, at the South Zone office conference of the Coimbatore Corporation, on Tuesday. He discussed with the officials regarding the distribution of drinking water and underground drainage projects ongoing at Kurichi and Kuniamuthur.

He discussed with the officials regarding the distribution of drinking water and underground drainage projects ongoing at Kurichi and Kuniamuthur.
Addressing the officials, the Corporation Commissioner insisted that the underground sewerage project and the drinking water projects for the areas newly added to the Coimbatore Corporation should be expedited.
He advised the officials to ensure seamless supply of water to the public, as scheduled. The Commissioner also urged the officials to supervise the road laying works and filling of potholes, on a timely and efficient manner.
He stressed that across all wards, sanitation works should be carried on a timely manner and a proper schedule should be followed to clear the garbage.

Subsequently, he visited Ward No: 90, of the South Zone and inspected the underground sewerage connection works and the micro compost centre.
The meeting was attended by the District Engineer R. Lakshmanan, South Zone Assistant Commissioner T.R. Ravi, TWAD Supervising Engineer N. Murali, TWAD Advisor Sampath, TWAD officials and engineers.
