The unrelenting protestors informed that they are determined to continue the protests untill their State government passes resolution in the assembly opposing the amended Citizenship Act and NPR.
"We will not quit, until the law is withdrawn", said a women protestor who says she is worried about the impact of CAA, NPR on her children, in the future.
Yesterday's overnight protest at Aathupalam witnessed several senior citizens sitting on the streets and voicing their support against CAA, NPR, and NRC.
Taking part in the protest on February 24, Hyder Ali, a past President of an Islamic outfit said "The Tamil Nadu State Legislature has to repeal CAA, NPR and NRC. And, Muslims will not allow any new questions to be asked in the census."
He added that the State government should understand the feelings of its citizens who are protesting for their rights, day and night.
